1. Adopt lifestyle changes for healthy living

2. Moderation in your diet. Avoid oily and fried foods

3. Cut down on sugar. All types of sugar, molasses etc.

4. Exercise regularly. Do not overdo exercise

5. ⁠For those who don’t have access to a gym, just walking/cycling/swimming is great. Use body weight for strength training.

6. Drink enough fluids. Avoid excessive but not dehydration

7. Adequate sleep. At least 6 to 7 hours of proper sleep

8. Avoid smoking completely and stay away from recreational drugs

9. Avoid alcohol

10. Manage stress better. It is important that the stress response

11. Check your heart health regularly with your doctor

12. Control and treatment of blood pressure

13. Control diabetes and keep it in check
